Every price starts from a base rate for the service, then adjusts for how many items, height, heavy lifting and urgency. It can never go below the minimum or outside the limits for that service.
- Full breakdown before you confirm
- Limits set for every service
- A bigger job needs your approval first
Illustrative only. In the app, Tackle suggests your price from your description and photos, inside limits set for each service.

FAQ
Questions, answered.
The short version. The full list lives on the FAQ page.
How is my price calculated?
Tackle reads your description and photos, matches the job to a service, and suggests a price inside limits set for that service. You see the full breakdown before confirming.
When am I charged?
Only after your pro marks the job complete. If the job turns out bigger than described, the pro must ask you to approve a new price first.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancelling is free until your pro is on the way.
How are pros vetted?
Every pro verifies their ID, and background checks are completed through our screening partner before they can accept jobs.
What does membership cost?
One flat monthly fee: Pro Monthly is $19 per month, cancel anytime. The founding member offer is $15 per month for the first 3 months, then $19, and is limited to the first 200 New York City pros. There is no commission on jobs and no per-lead charge.
